I am a teacher. This takes up the majority of my time. Between that and my three children it leaves me very little time for anything else. How am I going to get in a movie a day while walking on a treadmill? Every day? From the very start of this, I am not liking my chances for making this thing last. However, the first day was a success. I walked for over an hour in the morning and for about 50 minutes at night to complete my viewing of The Interview with Seth Rogen and James Franco.
The movie comes much maligned and with some obvious controversy. I was curious though to see how many, if any, good laughs I would get from the movie. I do admit that there were several scenes that almost caused me to go flying off the treadmill because I was laughing so hard. There were also long stretches of the movie where I could not stop wondering how much longer I had left to walk. Most of the great laughs came in the first 25 minutes of the movie. After that, the laughs felt more forced, and came farther and farther apart. Overall, not a bad way to spend over 6 miles walking.
We will give The Interview a 200 on a scale of 305. (305 is currently what my scale says)
